Olfactometry analyses are synergic to industrial research and development activities and are essential to develop odour control technologies; they are also needed in order to obtain environmental certifications.

The results are useful to take part in the industrial process and to reduce the environmental impact, to evaluate the efficiency of odour abatement systems (biofilters, scrubbers, activated carbon beds, neutralizing systems, etc.) and to realize odour dispersion models in the surrounding areas.
